FOODAMN PHILIPPINES : WHO WE ARE

Arts + Food: Laya Personal Dining @ Pinto Art Museum, Antipolo Rizal

Laya Personal Dining - situated within the grounds of Pinto Art Museum and Earth Cafe. An Asian cuisine with private dining setting in Antipolo, Rizal.

Quoted from LAYA...
"The word holds several different meanings in Sanskrit including abode; place of rest; mental inactivity; union of song, dance and instrumental music; a state of mental quietude;;and many other different things… In Tagalog though, it simply means freedom, and this is what LAYA promises to give each of our guests.

LAYA seeks to give its guests a place where they can slow down and rest; it seeks to celebrate song and dance and the arts; but mostly, LAYA promises to be a haven where guests have all the freedom to do whatever they want and where they can be completely free to make their dining experience however they want it to be.
LAYA is a private kitchen, hidden in hilly Antipolo that seeks to give each of our guests a unique, private and personal dining experience all their own. With a personal chef to cater to your every culinary whim, and your own host dedicated to serve your every request, we promise every guest a truly pampering dining experience. But perhaps, the best amenity of LAYA is the villa’s exclusivity. Guests who book at LAYA get to enjoy the entire villa with its poolside, pocket gardens, private nooks and their dining table where they can watch our chefs cook their meals, located in in the peaceful suburbs of Antipolo, overlooking the Manila skyline and Laguna de Bay, all to themselves.
LAYA can (and will!) also help with any other special arrangements our guests may have to truly make the experience all the more special. Fancy having a healthy spa dinner with your girlfriends? Or maybe an all-out seafood feast with the family… Or a romantic candlelit dinner? How about pre-dinner cocktails while watching the sunset? Or maybe having a string quartet play your favorite songs while you enjoy your dinner? We can even conspire with you to plan the most romantic marriage proposals! Ring in the bottom of a champagne glass at the end of dinner? An acoustic duo performing your favorite songs? Roses and candles? We can make that happen!

This is why it’s called a Personal Dining Experience. And this is why it’s called LAYA… Guests are free to create their dining fantasies here."

Through Glaxo Smith Kline and Campaigns & Grey Event last April 27, 2011, media and bloggers had a pleasant time - al fresco dining with conceptual and surreal paintings, installation art surrounding the enormous space. The best part was... we were served with fully organic art-injected dishes.
