FOODAMN PHILIPPINES : WHO WE ARE

Hyphy's via the Moulinex YouCook Video Recipe Challenge 2 Launch

Hyphy's has been gaining hype reviews from customers, the venue recently hosted the formal launch of Moulinex's 2nd YouCook Video Recipe Challenge 2011. Moulinex team, guest judges, student/school representative and media jam-packed the place. Hyphy's offers a Filipino- San Francisco fusion cuisine, comfort food as the Chef Bruce Lim concludes. He grew up in San Fo and this kind of dish he fusioned it with Filipino style, even the interiors of the restaurant has the characteristics of his San Francisco life.
It appears that the Calamansi Tuyo Pasta [PhP130] and Clam Chowder Sourdough Bread [170] has somehow gain its fusion popularity. As soon as I received the invites from Collins' Moulinex, was excited to see the venue and we'll soon get to savor the hype-ness from Hyphy's. Oh boy, nonetheless, the place was swarmed with a lot of invited people. Food was served with just the right amount and we enjoyed the brewed coffee and brownies dessert, we had a stormy lunch then [Typhoon Quiel was around]. Maybe next time, we need to comeback for that so-much-hyped pasta. The interior, lights and black & white geometrical flooring of Hyphy's were eye-catching, plus I like the wooden tables too, very cozy.  When the event took place, we headed off to Papa John's Pizza for more gastronomic adventures. :)
