What is Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate used for? 
"Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) is a broad-spectrum disinfectant agent, the sodium salt of a chlorinated hydroxytriazine and is used as a source of free available chlorine, in the form of hypochlorous acid, for the disinfection of water. It is widely used as a stable source of chlorine for the disinfection of swimming pools and in the food industry. To be effective against bacteria and the spores, an adequate concentration of HOCl- molecules is required. " (OAT). 

To be honest, when we have our groceries or goods from the wet market, they stay outside the house for complete disinfection. Disinfecting means rinsing them thoroughly with running water and spraying/wiping them off with disinfectant. Now we have an alternate solution for cleaning our fruits and veggies. For food deliveries, simply spray the items generously, let it air dry or wipe.
