SandBar is located at the Acquatica Center, right side of the main entrance of Manila Ocean Park , a bay-side, open-air family dining area. Bloggers and media were treated an afternoon snack prior to Press Conference of Manila Ocean Park's Biggest Car Event - the Rev, Drift & Drive happening on April 29, 30 and May 01 of 2011.

The place, settings and backdrop of Sandbar suggest a summery feel. Making it look cozy, light and elegant for the customers. Contrary to its name, it suggest a wholesome dining experience for families and food-trippers. I was invited to Sandbar's public soft opening a week ago, but I wasn't able to attend the said event. Since we're not a party-hopper anymore =) I gave it a pass.
The food and ambience were great during that sunny afternoon, my concern was, what if rainy season comes? I guess they already have Plan B solution for that.
Why not try to rename it the Grainybar [jokingly] - connotation for sand grain, rains and the bar =)
