What to eat at Ang Tunay Beef House in Binondo, Manila
This is a NOT sponsored post. All opinions are mine.February 3, 2023. Binondo, Manila, Philippines. - I'm trying the Ang Tunay Beef House short orders for the first time. Check out their Chinese-style fast cuisine as soon as you walk into the eatery. They had beef brisket, chicken feet, a variety of seafood dishes, and a traditional Filipino recipe that day. We came here in the afternoon, to sample their beef soups.

Short orders:
Kamto soup. We were told that the regular size is comparable to a kiddie size. This is a small bowl filled with thin slices of kamto, or beef flank, tendons and fat from the muscles that make up the belly. Kamto is a tasty, nearly fatless type of lean beef. Since we were seated directly next to the soup section window, the server asked for permission before granting our request for an additional "sabaw" (soup)
Ox-tongue soup. At P330, the large bowl isn't all that big; two people could share this kind of meal. The beef soups are nothing special. We also believe the soup costs are excessive.
Fried crispy canton. We weren't happy with this order, in fact we left half of it on the plate, we did not bother to take it home. This is a medium-sized order with "tinipid" meat and veggie toppings with a lot of noodles and MSG.
Service. If you don't ask, no one will take your orders. We don't understand why the servers stick by your side the entire time while we gorge on their overpriced food. Additionally, a server is constantly sweeping the greasy floor in our vicinity. If you can, try to get a seat close to the beverage area or the soup section so you can peek into the rear kitchen.
From these experiences, we concluded that we might not visit the restaurant again.
How to get there?
